Cook-log recipe links no longer repeat the site address

The pre-filled recipe link in the cook-log form now uses the correct page address instead of occasionally repeating the site URL at the start.

Cook-log button moved to the end of recipes

The 'Log this cook' button now appears at the bottom of each recipe page after the cooking steps and notes. The link now routes through GitHub sign-in first, which helps it open the cook-log form more reliably in mobile browsers.

Cook-log shortcut on every recipe page

Every recipe now has a 'Log this cook' button that opens a pre-filled cook log issue with the recipe name, page link, and today's date, so it's quicker to record notes and family feedback.

Redesigned component-based recipe layout

Recipes built from components (sauces, rubs, sub-preparations) now show each component at the top of the page with its own ingredient list and numbered steps, in the same style as the main recipe. A thumbnail sits in a header card so you can see at a glance what you're about to prepare.

Link previews now show the recipe photo

Sharing a recipe link in Messages, Slack, Discord, Facebook, or similar now unfurls with the recipe's header image, title, and description instead of a plain link.

Keep screen awake while cooking

Recipe pages now have a 'Keep screen awake' checkbox above the directions. Tick it and your phone or tablet won't dim or lock while you're following the recipe.

Every recipe page now has a split-hero layout with a large header image. The index has a navy masthead with integrated search and filter pills.

All 99 recipes gained a one-to-two-sentence description that now shows on the index card and at the top of each recipe page.
